Do you have an antique lamp shade that needs new fabric but you can't bear to part with it because it goes with your lamp? Or has your modern shade seen better days? Candy can restore or recover the old shade so it sparkles once again. All antique lamp shades, Victorian lamp shades and modern shades are made with
traditional hand sewing techniques.
Lamp shade repair can be made with similar fabric and trim and the original materials can be used whenever possible. Antique lamp shades can be recovered in a modern fabric that is similar to the original covering or changed to whatever fabric and color you like. Choose from domestic or imported fabrics. Add lace, hand pleating, chiffon rosettes or burn-out velvet for that antique look. Or choose a style that reflects more traditional lamp shades. Fabric and fringe can be dyed almost any color you desire.
You can usually restore or recover the original frame. Frames beyond repair can be manufactured to match the original. And many popular shade frames are still sold today to companies that specialize in lamp shade repair and restoration.
